I took a solo trip with Katella Uganda Safaris to Uganda. This was a once in a lifetime amazing experience. From trekking chimpanzees in the wild to seeing mountain silverback gorillas in their natural habitat. This should be in everyone's bucket list!. From the start I was impressed with Florence. She responded quickly to my emails and thoroughly resolved any concerns or questions I had. She put together a custom itinerary, matching exactly what I wanted to see and do. Flo went out of her way to make sure that this trip not only met my expectations, but exceeded them. Everything I wanted to do while i were there, no matter how big or small she made sure I got to do it. I would have no reservations recommending Flo and Katella Uganda Safaris to others. I am beyond thankful to her and her team and would wholeheartedly recommend her to everyone. Book your trip of a lifetime with this wonderful team.

We had a 12 day fabulous safari in Uganda and Rwanda.
Florence and Moses (our lovely guide/driver) made it a memorable experience. Our trip started in Entebbe and we got to visit different national parks including Murchinson Falls, Kibale, Queen Elizabeth- north and Ishasha sector and Mgahinga.
The landscape was varied, green and very beautiful, the lodges where excellent, people were very friendly/loving and we saw all the animals we had hoped for (lions, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, antelopes, hippos, crocs, leopards etc). Florence helped us choose the right lodges and was very helpful before and during our safari and Moses was a joy to be with. Our safari car was always full of laughs and we enjoyed learning about Ugandan ways throughout the rides.
We are glad we choose Mgahinga park as we where able to do a golden monkey trek on top trekking the amazing mountain gorillas.
We chose to go back to Australia from Kigali which was a good choice. The short transfer to the capital- Kigali, Rwanda was worth it as we where able to have a city tour of the cleanest city, visited the genocide museum and experienced the Rwanda culture.
