My wife and I pioneered eco-tourism in the rural Ecuadorian Andes astarting in 1994. Our business is homespun self-built - we have a strong do-it-yourself style and work closely with the local community.
Local highlights are: Laguna Quilotoa, a volcanic crater lake; Rio Toachi Canyon system; Iliniza Ecological Reserve w/ huge tracts of Cloud Forest; High Alpine Paramo; Indigenous Markets; Local Cheese Factory & Furniture Making Workshop - endless hiking
