My wife and I spent a very enjoyable day with our driver and tour guide André in September 2016. André's almost encyclopedic knowledge of the area (particularly the geology and wildlife of São Miguel Island), coupled with his engaging personality and fluency in English, made this a truly memorable tour. André took us to several fascinating places which we would otherwise not have known existed. We could not have asked for a better guide.
