I've travelled twice with Tung Nam: in 2001 from Dalat to Hue via the highlands, and in 2003, the loop from Hanoi around the NW to Dien Bien Phu, Sapa, etc. I can recommend Nam as a very safe and caring guide to anyone looking for a motorbike adventure anywhere in Vietnam. You'll not only see and do things inaccessible to the average tourist and finish with memories to last a lifetime, but you'll also have a loyal friend for life.
