Rising to a height of 110 feet above mean sea level, the pink granite rocks of Otter Cliffs dramatically jut out of the ocean. With surf all around pounding the rocks create a delightful spectacle. Alongside this scenery several ledges & trails add to active recreation. Open to visitors throughout the year, Otter Cliffs are conveniently approachable from Park Loop Road. The Otter Cliff Road branching off Route 3 will also take you to the Otter Cliffs. However, to protect visitors from dangerous situations the automotive traffic may be closed during winter by the National Park Service.
