Elizabethtown is a town in Sand Creek Township, Bartholomew County, Indiana, United States. The population was 504 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Columbus, Indiana metropolitan statistical area. As of the census of 2000, there were 391 people, 147 households, and 108 families residing in the town. The population density was 1,552.9 people per square mile (603.9/km²). There were 175 housing units at an average density of 695.0/sq mi (270.3/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 97.70% White, 0.77% African American, 0.26% Native American, 0.26% Asian, and 1.02% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.51% of the population.
