The Bogd Khan Palace Museum was constructed between 1893 and 1903. It is said to be the house of the last king of Mongolia, Javzan Damba Hutagt VIII. This building has many temples and houses which have a number of artworks of the Buddhists. There is also a remarkable collection of private gifts of Javzan Damba Hutagt which he received from the rulers and kings worldwide. There are specific paintings of Marzan Sharav which depicts humorous and irony scenes of everyday life. This museum is in two parts, the summer palace having seven temples and the winter palace which is a two storey white building built in European style. The summer palace is filled with ancient statues of gods. The Winter Palace is situated near the Square on Chingisiin Orgon Choloo. Tourists can visit this palace on all days between 10am to 5 pm.
