Tortola Island is the largest among the British Virgin Islands volcanic chain. The warm waters of the Caribbean kiss the beautiful pristine white beaches of the island such as the Lambert Bay, Trellis Bay Cane Garden Bay and Long Bay and provide perfect conditions for excellent watersports activities like snorkeling, swimming, fishing, sunbathing, and occasional surfing. Known as the "Land of turtle doves" the Tortola Island has the Sage Mountain National Park, which is one of the natural wonders of the island.
Skyworld here is a must-see family attraction, providing breathtaking vistas of St. Croix Island and the green islands dotted in the Caribbean all around. The J.R. O'Neal Botanic Garden is a highly recommended place where a wide variety of orchids, herbs, exotic plants and gorgeous flowers are kept which anyone will not find anywhere else.
