Day 1: Kigali Airport – Goma /DR. Congo
Our tour guide/ driver will meet you at the Kigali Airport, greetings; shortly brief you about your tour in Congo and immediate transfer to the old colonial mineral town in the Eastern of Democratic Republic of Congo.

The drive is through beautiful rolling hills, bypassing coffee, tea and banana plantations on a comfortable paved road and is approximately 4 hours from Kigali. Arrive at the Border of Congo and Rwanda at Gisenyi; go under the visa clearance and after clearing drive to your Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking in the Virunga National Park.
Early in the morning, you will depart from Goma to Bukima the park ranger headquarters, where you will be oriented concerning the dos and don’ts while you are with the Gorillas. After the rundown, you proceed for the memorable adventure of gorilla tracking. Time taken while searching for these great apes, rangers between 2 to 6 hours depending on the movement of the gorilla groups therefore, move with your packed lunch, water, tracking gears among others. Meet, chant and enjoy their entertainment for one hour while taking photos for remembrance. After trekking you come down to the base of operations where the driver will take you back to your lodge and the rest of your Day is at leisure.

Day 3: Goma - Kigali city - Check out.
Today is your day for packing, shopping in the Congo souvenir market, and get ready to be transferred to Kigali for your out bound flight. The drive from Goma to Kigali takes around 4 hours.
Upon arrival to Kigali and depending on your flight schedule do a short city tour of Kigali including the Visit to the Kigali Genocide Museum and later transfer to the airport.
The Gorilla trekking permit should be secured at least 2 weeks in advance.
