7 Days Best of Botswana Safari

The tents are fitted with stretcher beds made up with mattresses, sheets, duvets and pillows. The tents have en-suite long drop toilet facilities and a bucket shower at the rear of the tent. Showers can be ordered as hot, cold or warm and the water is heated in a bucket on the fire. Showers may be taken at any time. Both hand towels and bath towels are supplied for the guests’ convenience but please note that guests should bring their own personal items and toiletries.

Day 1& 2 Moremi Game Reserve
Drive through to Moremi Game Reserve, one if the best wilderness areas of Botswana which covers swamp and dry areas. The next two days will be spent searching for the wide variety of wildlife and birds the area is renowned for, while absorbing the sounds and beauty of this region. A mokoro excursion will be provided during your stay to view game from another perspective and to experience this tranquil mode of transport. Game drives in the early morning as the sun rises and in the late afternoon as the sun sets will be the norm

Day 3 & 4 Savuti
Chobe National Park, with its diverse and striking landscapes, will be your next destination. As you continue your search for wildlife, you will traverse the drier region of Savuti where bull elephants dot the plains. Savuti is very well known for its predators such as lion, leopard, cheetah and even African wild dog. This exciting event has allowed large breeding herds of elephant as well as buffalo to visit the area.

Day 5& 6 Chobe River, Chobe National Park
Head northwards to the Chobe River where your game drives will meander along the banks of the river, followed by the call of the majestic African Fish Eagle. The Chobe River Floodplain is an amazing game viewing area where water attracks large herds of buffalo, elephant, zebra and other herbivores. Due to the proliferation of prey, predators are likely to be close at hand. Sun sets in this region as always
spectacular and allows for amazing photographic opportunities.

Day 7 Kasane
Drive to Kasane where you will do morning boat cruise and drop of at your preferred lodge or Kasane airport.
