Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) – Arusha
Upon arrival you will be met at the Kilimanjaro International Airport by your driver. After being taken to your hotel, your safari manager will come and meet you for a safari briefing. Whichever you choose, tonight you can sit back, enjoy your dinner and settle into the African way of life.
Accommodation: Overnight at L’oasis Lodge on bed and breakfast basis

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast we depart for Tarangire, Tanzania’s third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, and cheetah and up to six thousand elephant. Camping Accommodation: Tarangire public campsite

Day 3: Tarangire National Park – Lake Manyara National Park
Tree Climbing Lions & Pink Flamingoes
Morning after breakfast with packed lunch boxes, Your Safari will continue with a drive towards Lake Manyara National Park…. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty.
You can see many game animals such as buffalo, elephant, giraffe, impala, hippo and others. Eventually you will arrive and stay overnight at beautiful Lake Manyara, which Ernest Hemingway once called the “The loveliest lake in Africa.” The national park is home to the unique tree-climbing lions of Lake Manyara, which you’ll have the chance to see lounging in the high tree branches.

Day 4: Lake Manyara – Naabi Hill Gate – Serengeti National Park
Endless Plains of the Serengeti
After breakfast from your camp, you will start on your way to the Serengeti National Park.
You will transit Ngorongoro Crater and stop for a picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) it will be time to head further into the park begin your game drive. You pass through green savannah where elephants and giraffes roam, through a stretch of territory which is rarely visited by travelers, to reach the central Serengeti. The name Serengeti comes from the Maasai word, “Siringet” referring to an endless plain. As you traverse the park you’ll begin to understand the reason behind this name. Once you’ve seen enough game for the day, it will be on to your nearby lodge in time for dinner.

Day 5: Full day Game drive in Serengeti National Park
Great Wildebeest Migration
If you rise early you can take a morning game drive through the park to see the nocturnal predators returning from their nightly hunt and animals waking up in the early morning light. Depending on the time of year and the migration of the herds, you can expect to see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many birds and other species. Just as in Ngorongoro, your driver will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals. You will then head back to your camp for another night.

Day 6: Depart Serengeti National Park -Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater – Natural Wonders of the World
After breakfast you will proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, visit Masai Boma (Local society village on the Ngorongoro Crater rim, before you descend down to the crater floor for a full day game drive). you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck, the ‘Big Five’ can all be spotted in a single game drive. Tonight you will stay overnight in a lodge in the crater.

Day 7: Ngorongoro – Mto wa Mbu Village – Arusha – Kilimanjaro International Airport
Visit orphans, Local School & Masai Markets
After breakfast at Ngorongoro Crater, you will drive to Karatu & Mto wa Mbu village. Spend some hours around Karatu and Mto wa Mbu villages, a small town located at the outer rim of the Ngorongoro Highlands. Sitting on a plateau of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment, the town enjoys a beautiful climate. Your day will be filled with many cultural encounters. Go on a stroll to the busy market of Karatu Town and pay a visit to a descendent of the old Irawq-Tribe. He will give you an interesting introduction into the traditions of Tanzania and his tribe.
At the appropriate time you will be taken to the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your international flight. Welcome Back to Tanzania!
