Day 1 : The Adventure Begins: Head to Murchison Falls National Park
Morning departure from Entebbe, you travel through the villages of rural southern Uganda to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in time for lunch. You will have a while to explore the visitor center, cool off in the lodge pool and settle into your accommodation before we go Rhino Trekking in the late afternoon after the sun has lost its intensity. This is a great opportunity to see these magnificent beasts on foot in a controlled natural environment where the Rhinos are free to roam within the huge sanctuary but are guarded 24/7. The fee you pay goes 100% to Rhino Fund Uganda, in support of their work to establish a viable Rhino population here so the under threat Rhino can be reintroduced into Uganda's national parks. Later arrive at your accommodation at Murchison Falls National Park, have dinner and we will spend the night in this splendid Park. Overnight Pakuba safari Lodge.

Day 2 : Murchison Falls Park
An early wake up and a quick cup of coffee and some fruit before we cross the Nile to the delta area for your morning game drive. There may be lions, elephant, giraffe, and possibly leopard and hyena. You'll return to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon board the Wild Frontiers river launch and begin your cruise to the foot of the falls. It takes around an hour and a half to reach the falls and on the way we’ll scour the riverbanks, together with your first rate highly experienced guide, for wildlife. You will see hippos and crocodiles naturally and a wide variety of spectacular waterbirds and on the banks there’s a chance of seeing buffalo, warthog, elephant and various antelope. Once at the foot falls we moor briefly to a large rock to wonder at the power of the mighty river before slowly drifting back down into the late afternoon sun, contemplating the explorers and adventurers who saw what we are seeing now.
Overnight Pakuba safari Lodge (Superb to appreciate the African star lit sky here)

Day 3 : Chimpanzee tracking
Start the day with an early breakfast, and then transfer to Budongo forest area to go and track Chimpanzees. The trek takes 3 to 4 hours and you should be back in time for lunch. On meeting the chimpanzees, you will be allowed to spend 1 hour following them and then you will return to your hotel for lunch. You will have the rest of the afternoon free for you to relax and enjoy nature.

Day 4 : Jinja
After breakfast transfer to Jinja appreciating the views from the lodge one last time before embarking on the drive back to Kampala en-route to Jinja. Stop for lunch along the way and continue on to Kampala where you have the option to stop for shopping before proceeding to your destination.
Overnight in Haven Lodge

Day 5 : Wild Fun at The River Nile – Jinja
RIVER NILE SAFARI - kitting out, safety briefing then a training / practice session before starting your 3-hour drive-yourself, guided safari.

On this safari we are able to take you on a journey through the farms, forests and small villages beside the River Nile and then add some really special sections to give you more challenging sections. With more time available we are able to take you further out along the Nile, through the farms, forest and villages along the east bank. We tailor the trip according to the group, but generally, after the first hour, as you get more familiar with your ATVs potential we get to show you more about what quad bike riding is really about and why they are called All-Terrain Vehicles.

We give you a great trip through some special parts of this area that require more effort to get to. On this longer safari we are able to take you on more challenging sections. There will also be more opportunities to meet some of the people living in the area.

Optionally you may prefer to spend more time visiting the local communities, farms and areas of forest on this trip beside the River Nile. Your guide, who lives in the area will be able to help you to get what you want from the safari.
Bring a camera and a smile, you will find plenty of opportunities use them.

Day 6 : No Worries but Memories
After an early morning breakfast, you have an option to take; Horseback Safari.
Our 1.5hr ride is a slow paced one. There are some opportunities for a short canter if you choose, but this safari is still a slower paced safari more aimed at being a sightseeing tour through the village and along the river bank rather than a hard core riding trip. A great trip for groups of friends or family that don't want anything too intense. Or go for a short tour in Jinja town and the source of the Nile before your journey back to Kampala/ Entebbe.

1. Activities not mentioned in the itinerary
