Please ensure to read the following information which will help you reserve your tour. Excursions cannot be reserved unless you agree to the terms found below. The following terms are a comprehensive explanation of the use of this website as well as the method of how reservations are received, confirmed as well as refunded in case of inclement weather cancellations, ships not arriving into port or cancellations of flights in the case of overnight visitors.
Private Belize Adventure., http://www.privatebelizeadventure.com, will not be held responsible for any omissions on the part of the reserved party (Purchaser), we assume no responsibility for incorrect dates, times, e-mail addresses, or any other incorrect information provided to us by reserving party (Purchaser). Excursions are reserved "as is" on the date and times requested by "users" of our website. Replies or confirmations not received are due to incorrect e-mail address(s) provided on our reservation forms by the "Purchaser". Please return to our website and resubmit your request/confirmation forms if you do not receive a response to requests or reservations submitted.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure receipt of an e-mail reservation following a reservation deposit being submitted. Private Belize Adventure. is not responsible for reservation e-mails not having been received by clients unless our company has been advised prior to the tour date. If your reservation is not received within a 48-hour period, please contact us via e-mail from Sunday to Saturday between 7am and 5pm, Central Time in order to advise us that your reservation for the tour has not been received.
Private Belize Adventure. will not be held responsible for injuries, death, loss of personal effects, or late arrival of the "Purchaser" to the pre-reserved tour(s).
All cruise ship tour pickups are outside the Belize City cruise ship tender arrival area. Do not hesitate inside looking for your operator; the operator will be waiting for you at the exit of terminal four, with a sign clearly stating “Private Belize Adventure.”. All overnight pickups will be done by the operator at the guest port of entry to Belize. All directions for your specific meeting/times will be found in your e-mail confirmation which is received following the placement of an tour deposit.
Excursion availability requests sent from website "users" to Private Belize Adventure. does not constitute a "booked" reservation. Private Belize Adventure. will e-mail an availability report following an availability request to the e-mail address provided by the requesting party. A secure/encrypted confirmed reservation form will be sent to the purchaser stating availability being present for the requested number of people and dates.
Availability is transmitted as current availability, Private Belize Adventure. will not be held responsible if the requested tour is no longer available by the time a credit card deposit is received to secure the reservation. A valid major credit card will be needed to confirm any reservation on our reservation system.
Once a credit card is received for the tour, tour deposits will be automatically processed to reserve/guarantee seating on the requested tour. E-mail confirmations for the selected tour will be sent to the purchaser(s) by Private Belize Adventure. (unless otherwise noted) within 2 business days.
Confirmations will state: Type of tour reserved, number of passengers, deposit made for the tour, money due to operator at time of tour, detailed directions for pickup, name of tour and other relevant tour information. E-mail confirmations sent by Private Belize Adventure. for reserved tours must be printed and presented to the operator(s) at the time of tour. E-mail confirmation(s) to be printed by the "purchaser" for the reserved tour(s) will clearly state: "Name of tour confirmed reservation --- PLEASE PRINT ----” in the "subject line" of the e-mail confirmation. It is the responsibility of reserved passengers (Client) to ensure the reservation e-mail is received for the tour. E-mail reservations not received by clients may be due to incorrect e-mail address (es) provided on our reservation forms by the "Purchaser" or e-mail servers blocking our e-mail responses. Please e-mail us again in the event no response to request(s) is received.
Cancellations are honored two weeks prior to your reserved tour. Deposits are non-refundable for the exception of reserved client's ship, airplane, and bus, etc. not arriving into the country of Belize (not applicable if the arriving ship, airplane, and/or bus etc. has changed arrival date, in which case the reserved tour is organized to reflect the correct arrival, and the tour has been reorganized for the correct arrival date) or an inclement weather cancellation by guides. Cancellations with 14 days or more notice must be submitted in writing by replying to the original e-mail confirmation sent to reserve party e-mail address. If cancellations are not received 14 days or more prior to the reserved tour, the full charge for the tour will be charged on the "Purchaser" credit card. Cancellations due to "illness" at time of tour require a certified medical certificate from your ship's doctor if in case of an overnight guest from a medical officer in order to deviate a full balance charge for missing the reserved tour; the doctor's certificate can be faxed to our office or presented at time of tour by participating group members.
Tentative reservations ARE NOT ACCEPTED BY OUR COMPANY. Deposits are not refunded due to client cancellations. Deposits are kept on credit to be used for a period of 1 year from deposit payment date for future reservation deposits. Credited deposits from cancelled tours, or changed tours, not limited to: change in reserved passengers, changes in type of tour, changes in current pricing as opposed to past pricing, may not be used towards tour balances. Credited deposits are non-transferable.
Deposits are fully refunded due to ships not calling port for any reason, or due to tour operator's cancellation due to inclement weather. Deposits are non-refundable for the exception of the two reasons listed above. Cruise liner tours or other operator cancellations do not reflect our operational capabilities, if your cruise liner has cancelled their tour it will not mean that our tour of the same type is cancelled. Please call the number provided in your reservation e-mail in order to confirm a cancellation or make your way to the tour's meeting location once in port. Refunds will not be given for any reason once tours have commenced.
If your Excursion was cancelled by the operator due to inclement weather or your ship did not call port your reservation deposit will be refunded in full. The deposit refund is obtained by replying to the original reservation e-mail received for the tour. Refunds will not be issued without a reply to the original reservation e-mail. The credit card used for reserved tour(s) deposit must be valid at time of refund; refunds will not be processed if the credit card used for the initial deposit is expired or invalid at time of refund.
No refunds (nor credits) of any kind will be issued by Private Belize Adventure. once a tour has commenced.
The balance owed at time of tour is shown on every reservation issued by Private Belize Adventure.; the balance must be paid at time of tour to the tour operator or associated guide. In the case of a group reservation the total balance must be paid in "one lump sum", separate "per person payments" are not accepted. Refunds due to operator’s cancellations other than inclement weather cancellations or ships not calling port will be refunded by the tour provider at time of tour.
THE BALANCE OF YOUR RESERVED TOUR IS CLEARLY SHOWN ON YOUR E-MAIL RESERVATION. THE E-MAIL RESERVATION YOU RECEIVED FOR THE RESERVED TOUR MUST BE PRINTED AND SHOWN AT TIME OF TOUR. YOUR E-MAIL RESERVATION IS YOUR TICKET FOR THE RESERVED TOUR. IT IS THE RESERVED CLIENT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY THE BALANCE AS SHOWN ON THE RESERVATION. Private Belize Adventure. WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BALANCE OVERPAYMENT OR UNDERPAYMENT.
Please note: Cancellations of Excursions due to inclement weather are unfortunately sometimes inevitable. Belize is a big country and if one tour is cancelled another might be possible. In case of apparent inclement weather and your ship, airplane, and/or bus, etc. is able to come into Belize please proceed to the meeting point for your tour in Belize. Our guide will announce if the pre-reserved tour has to be cancelled and will recommend an alternative tour. If an alternate tour is chosen by the reserved party (Purchaser) the cost of the alternate tour minus the pre-paid deposit will be charged for the chosen alternative tour. If no alternative tour is chosen by "purchaser" a full refund of pre-paid deposit will be in effect and will be refunded on your credit card.
In case of an early arrival or late arrival of your ship, airplane, and/or bus, etc. reserved passengers must make their way to the meeting area regardless of times stated in the reservation where our guide(s) will be meeting all reserved passengers for the tour. Other tours cancellations do not reflect our operational capabilities, if your cruise liner has cancelled their tour it will not mean that our tour of the same type is cancelled. Please make your way to the meeting area in order to ensure tours are also cancelled by our guides. The revised arrival date of cruise liners, airplanes, and/or buses, etc. will not cancel your tour. Excursions will be automatically moved to the changed arrival date. Please make your way to the tour, our operator will be there to greet you. In the case of an overnight guest, please inform us if your flight, bus or other means of arrival is coming in earlier or later than originally scheduled.
