Day 1: Arrival / Liberia Airport
Fly into Liberia* International Airport (flight not included). Take a taxi, rent a car or ask our agents about the cost for a private transfer with our meet-and-greet service to Villas Sol Hotel & Beach Resort where your vacation will begin at the completely remodeled resort. Less than 20 minutes from Liberia International Airport. Drink in the sunshine at the swim up bar. Deluxe accommodations with a beach side restaurant, swim up bar, deck bar with a view, casino, shops, beauty salon & spa. Two queen beds or king bed per room, limited number of adjoining rooms and handicapped rooms are available. (D)
*If you fly into San Jose we can still arrange transfers, but it is almost four hours to resort.

Day 2: Enjoy morning breakfast and get ready to go diving. Most of the diving sites only 15 to 20 minutes from the beach. In the afternoon, relax on the beach or explore the nearby small town of Playas del Coco. Bill Beard’s Costa Rica also has adventure & cultural tours available. (B,L,D)

Day 3: Sit and enjoy the breathtaking view during breakfast before you enjoy your second day of diving. After lunch, you will be picked up for your zip-line adventure. Soar through the trees in the canopy above the tropical dry forest below. (B,L,D)

Day 4: After breakfast, you will leave on your third dive day. Perhaps today is a good day to upgrade from the local diving to a long-range trip to Catalina Islands. The Catalina Islands are known for Manta Rays and schooling eagle, cownose and mobula (devil) rays. (B,L,D)

Day 5: Today is your fourth dive day, so you might consider adding a third tank so you can see even more. It is easy to add a third dive to any dive day for only a small additional fee. (B,L,D)

Day 6: Your fifth and final dive day. If you are an advanced diver, you might want to upgrade to the long-range trip to Bat Islands. The Bat Islands – or Isla Murcielagos – are famous for the impressive Bull Sharks that call the “Big Scare” dive sit their home. But that is not all you are likely to see,. There are massive schools of jacks, spade fish, gaff-top sail pompano, snapper, rainbow runners and much more. It is also a good place to spot occasional Manta Rays and Humpback Whales, as well as squadrons of Eagle Rays at Black Rock. Helpful dive crew will wash your gear daily, but you can take straight to your room on the final day if you prefer. Don’t forget to tip them for all of their help. (B,L,D)

Day 7: This morning you will go on a River Boat Tour on the Tempisque River, where you will have an opportunity to see three types of monkeys (Howlers, White-faced Capuchin and Spider), crocodiles and a multitude of birds that call this river and the Palo Verde their home. (B,L,D)

Day 8: Departure)
Today, you return home in need of another vacation. You won’t soon forget your guide or all of your wonderful experiences in Costa Rica. You should be checked out and ready to leave your hotel three and 1/2 hours before your scheduled flight departure time to have time to pay departure taxes, check-in at airline counter, and clear immigration and security checks at the Liberia (LIR) International airport before you board your flight home. (B)

*If you have already booked flights in or out of Liberia or San Jose Airports we can still arrange this tour – Ask our agents for help
