Luxury Train Safari Pretoria - Victoria Falls

Your two-night three day adventure begins with the departure from Rovos Rail’s gracious station in Capital Park Pretoria.

This special journey departs in the morning and slowly meanders westwards through Mafikeng into Botswana and then north towards Mahalapye, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn just after Gaberone. Once the train has passed through the dry reaches of Botswana we arrive at Plumtree in the late afternoon for border formalities with Zimbabwe.
We continue in a north-westerly direction passing Bulawayo heading towards Thompson’s Junction and Hwange Game Reserve.

Journeys end is the incomparable Victoria Falls on the mighty Zambezi River.

Please note that depending upon railways capacity this journey could be routed northwards through Beitbridge and Zimbabwe.

A 50% deposit is required for booking and full payment at least 30 days before Service Commencement. If date of service falls below or within 30 days full payment is required.

Any monies paid will be refund on early cancellation, less the cost of cancellation fees levied by hotels or lodges. Late cancellation will be subject to a charge of 25% between 35 and 15 days, 50% between 14 and 5 days, 75% between 4 and 2 days 100% on 48-hr. Cancellation of already booked tour.

Include, all expenses in respect of vehicle and driver as per itinerary, table d'hôte meals on safari, entrance fees to national parks and reserves.

Will be provided as per quotation. The right is reserved to employ the service of sub - contractors if need arise. English speaking driver/ guide are provided. Other language speaking driver/guides are provided on request and subject to availability.

The company reserves the right to alter arrangements or cancel the operation of tour if serious need arises, but will inform agent/ client before action. It also reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of the tour at any time, in which case an equitable amount will be refunded.

The company and its agents act as agents of the passenger in all matters relating to hotel / lodge accommodation, transport, tours etc. and shall not be liable for injury, delays, loss or damage in any manner. The laws of the country in which the tour takes place and no other country govern the company’s liability to passengers carried in its own vehicles. All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the action arises. The company reserves the right to employ sub-contractors for all or part of the services. The company cannot be held responsible for loss or damage of luggage.
