Yellow Springs is a village in Greene County, Ohio, United States, and is the location of Antioch College and Antioch University Midwest. The population was 3,487 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the census of 2010, there were 3,487 people, 1,672 households, and 902 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,835.3 people per square mile (711.6/km²). There were 1,805 housing units at an average density of 950.0 per square mile (368.4/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 76.1% White, 12.0% African American, 0.6% Native American, 1.5% Asian, 0.4% from other races, and 7.3% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.0% of the population.
