Twentynine Palms (also 29 Palms) is a city in San Bernardino County, California, United States. It was previously called Twenty-Nine Palms. The population was 25,048 at the 2010 census. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 59.1 square miles (153 km2), all land.
The city is in a desert and mountain area. Located there are Joshua Tree National Park and Park Headquarters, and Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms. It is located on California State Route 62 and is north of Interstate 10 in California. It is located at an elevation of 1,991 feet (607 m).
