Starting from the Cut Bank Trailhead at the end of Cut Bank Creek Road which is accessible via Highway 89 between the Saint Mary Entrance and Kiowa, the Triple Divide Trail initially follows the Cutbank Creek for 4 miles and then climbs out of the Atlantic Creek Valley.
A campground is also available for hikers close to the confluences of the Atlantic and Cutbank Creeks. Steadily climbing above Medicine Grizzly Lake to Triple Divide Pass., this trail provides wonderful views of Norris, Split and Little Chief Mountains alsongside Bighorn sheep often sighted on the surrounding mountains
