Tooele is a city in Tooele County in the U.S. state of Utah. It is part of the Salt Lake City, Utah, Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is the county seat of Tooele County. The city is well known for Tooele Army Depot, privately-owned waste-disposal facilities west of Tooele Valley, and TOCDF, a government-owned chemical weapons incinerator south of Tooele Valley. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 21.2square miles (54.8km), of which 21.1square miles (54.8km) is land and 0.04square miles (0.1km) (0.09%) is water.
