Salt Lake City Intermodal Hub (known by UTA as Salt Lake Central Station) is a multi-modal transportation hub located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Amtrak, the national rail system, provides one train daily in each direction on the California Zephyr: west to Emeryville, California (in the Bay Area) and east to Chicago, Illinois. In addition, the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) provides both commuter rail service with its FrontRunner line and light rail service on two different lines of the Trax system.
The Blue Line provides service through downtown to Sandy and other suburbs to the south, while the Green Line provides service through downtown and South Salt Lake to West Valley City. The intermodal hub is the northern terminus of both lines. Greyhound Lines, a national bus company, also services the station with several departures to points all across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
