Perryton is a city in Ochiltree County, Texas, United States. The population was 7,774 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Ochiltree County. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.5square miles (12Square kilometers), of which, 4.4square miles (11Square kilometers) of it is land and 0.04square miles (0.10Square kilometer) of it (0.45%) is water.
