Audubon is a census-designated place (CDP) in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 8,433 at the 2010 census. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 4.5square miles (12Square kilometers), of which 0.04square miles (0.10Square kilometer), or 0.44%, is water.Audubon lies on the north side of the Schuylkill River across from Valley Forge National Historical Park, and is situated about 5miles (8.0 kilometers) away from the King of Prussia Mall, one of the largest malls in the United States. As of the census of 2000, there were 6,549people, 2,379households, and 1,750families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1,461.1people per square mile (564.4Square kilometers). There were 2,457 housing units at an average density of 548.1Square meters(211.8Square kilometers).
