Pelham is a city in Mitchell County, Georgia, United States. The population was 4,126 at the 2000 census. It was named for famed American Civil War officer John Pelham. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.1 square miles (11 km2), of which, 4.1 square miles (11 km2) of it is land and 0.25% is water.
