Gladstone is a city in Stark County, North Dakota in the United States. The population was 239 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dickinson Micropolitan Statistical Area. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.4 square miles (1.0km2), all of it land. Gladstone was founded in 1882 by James Gray Campbell. It was named for British Prime Minister William Ewart Gladstone.
