Milan is a village in Cibola County, New Mexico, United States. The population was 3,245 at the 2010 Census. A suburb of Grants, Milan has a decent population growth. Many new houses and service-oriented businesses are being built. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.9 square miles (7.5 km2), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,891 people, 673 households, and 475 families residing in the village. The population density was 648.9 people per square mile (250.9/km²). There were 806 housing units at an average density of 276.6 per square mile (106.9/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 51.03% White, 1.32% African American, 13.96% Native American, 28.87% from other races, and 4.81% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 52.30% of the population.
