Montezuma is a town in Reserve and Wabash townships, Parke County, Indiana, United States. The population was 1,022 at the 2010 census. As of the census of 2000, there were 1,179 people, 476 households, and 343 families residing in the town. The population density was 1,908.1 people per square mile (734.2/km2). There were 527 housing units at an average density of 852.9 per square mile (328.2/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 96.95% White, 1.95% African American, 0.17% Native American, 0.17% Asian, and 0.76% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.76% of the population.
