Five Points is a tri-level underground multi-platform metro station of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) rail system. It is the transfer point between the Red/Gold and the Blue/Green Line it serves as the main transportation hub for MARTA . Five Points Serves a major part of The MARTA System such as South Dekalb, SouthWest Atlanta, and the City Atlanta. Access is provided to Five Points Business District, Underground Atlanta, City Hall, the Richard B. Russell Federal Building, Atlanta's Convention Visitors Bureau Visitors Center, The Braves Shuttle, Cobb Community Transit, Gwinnett County Transit, GRTA Xpress Transit, and the tourism heart of Downtown Atlanta.
Bus Service is Provide at this station to:Zoo Atlanta, Grant Park, Atlanta University Center, South Dekalb Mall, Centennial Olympic Park, Georgia Aquarium, Martin Luther King, Jr., National Historic Site, Carter Center, Atlanta City Hall, Fulton County Government Center, Turner Field (Home of the Atlanta Braves), and The communities of Flat Shoals, Mozley Park and Dixie Hills Despite being in a subway, only the Red/Gold are truly underground due to being on the lowest level and running in a tunnel under Broad Street between Garnett and Arts Center. The Blue/Green, on the second level, are actually located at-grade below the intersecting elevated street viaducts surrounding Underground Atlanta.
