El Dorado Springs is the largest city in Cedar County, Missouri, United States. The name is commonly shortened to El Dorado or just El Do. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.1 square miles (8.0 square kilometers), of which, 3.1 square miles (8.0 square kilometers) of it is land and 0.32% is water. There were 1,897 housing units at an average density of 615.9 per square mile (237.8/square kilometers). The racial makeup of the city was 96% White, 0.4% African American, 1% Native American, 0.3% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 1.1% from other races, and 1.1% from two or more races.
