Dingmans Falls is a waterfall located in Dingmans Ferry in Delaware Township, Pike County, Pennsylvania, United States near the Silverthread Falls. It has a vertical drop of 39.6 m (130 ft). Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, a part of the National Park Service, preserves natural & historic areas along the Delaware River less than 2 hours from NYC & Philadelphia.
The mission of Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, like all units of the National Park System, is to allow people to enjoy the park's resources in such a way as to leave the resources unimpaired for future generations. In so doing, the park works cooperatively with surrounding communities and the public to achieve the conservation goals of the Delaware River region.
