Broomall is a census-designated place (CDP) in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 11,046 at the 2000 census. The community was named after John Martin Broomall, a 19th century U.S. congressman from the area. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.9 square miles (7.5 km2), all of it land. The Bridge in Radnor Township No. 1 and Thomas Massey House are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Paxon Hollow Middle School Participates in an annual fundraiser for Alex's Lemonade Stand with Haverford Middle School. Marple Newtown Senior High School is the public school for Newtown Square and Broomall.
