Belfield is a city in Stark County, North Dakota in the United States. The population was 800 at the 2010 census. Belfield was founded in 1883. It is part of the Dickinson Micropolitan Statistical Area.

The racial makeup of the town was 97.3% White, 0.9% Native American, 0.9% Asian, 0.6% from other races, and 0.4% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.9% of the population.
