Guadalupe Ruins give an opportunity to understand and unveil the pages of history in order to learn more about Makati City. This ancient site is a great place to stop for the tourists visiting Manila as it is considered as one of the most alluring and spectacular archaeological finds in the country. A place where visitors can experience the Doric architecture that exhibits the colossal buttresses, along with the structure of the building which is distinguished by Doric columns and carvings right at the main door.
The ruins present at the site are the ruins of the oldest church in Makati City and hold great historical significance. A relic such as the Nuestra Senora de Gracia Church which was built in the year 1629 is a classic example of Doric Architecture which is widely appreciated by the visitors. Other attractions at this site, includes the American Cemetery and Memorial which house the very important wall paintings and war records belonging to the Second World War.
