El Nido Taytay Managed Resource Protected Area is an awe-inspiring site of El Nido. This site is renowned for its magnificent flora and fauna which are endemic to this part of the World. The region has been placed under protected area for its five types of forest, three marine habitats, several endemic and endangered species of birds and much more. The protected area is stretched over an area of about 36,000 hectares of land and 54,000 hectares of water. Besides this vast treasure of flora and fauna, the area also offers some really amazing limestone cliffs, mangroves, white sandy beaches, farmlands etc.
