Palawan might be the Philippines best kept secret although not for long with its recent designation as the world's top island by Conde Nast. Towering limestone cliffs, pristine white sand beaches, crystal clear lagoons and beautiful coral reefs are just one reason to visit. Your journey starts with a flight from the busy metropolis of Manila to the small city of Puerto Princesa where you can spend an afternoon relaxing in what has been nicknamed ““the city in a forest.” The following day can be spent relaxing and island hopping the beautiful beaches around town or one can opt for a rafting tour of the worlds longest subterranean river. After our short stay in Puerto Princesa we make our way up the east coast of the island to El Nido where we will enjoy the remainder of the trip. Spend the next few days island hopping and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters thriving with tropical fish and coral reefs. Sail through breathtaking lagoons and between the stunning limestone cliffs that rival the karst topography found in Ha Long Bay, Krabi or even Guilin in China. What truly sets Palwan apart from any destination is the crystal clear waters and virtually pristine environment still teaming with marine life and healthy coral forests. Take a break from island hopping and let us arrange a day hike from El Nido through the lush jungles to magnificent waterfalls or bike between the local villages and enjoy the sleepy pace of life in this remote corner of the Philippines.

    What to Bring?

  • We can arrange snorkeling (free) or diving equipment as per your preference but you prefer to bring your own.

Day 1 - Arrival in Manila

We will pick you up upon arrival at the airport and drop you at a downtown hotel where you can spend the rest of the day relaxing or touring the city with one of our guides.

Day 2 - Manila to Puerto Princesa (1 Hour Flight)

We leave on the first flight to Puerto Princesa. The remainder of the day is spent relaxing or touring Puerto Princesa. Overnight in Puerto Princesa.

Days 3 - Puerto Princesa (Subterranean Cavern or Honda Bay)

Today you will have the option to enjoy either a full day tour to Subterranean River National Park which is about a 3 hour drive from Puerto Princesa where you can raft through one of the world's longest underground rivers. Optionally you can choose to spend the day relaxing, swimming and snorkeling among the beautiful islands and beaches of nearby Honda Bay. Overnight in Puerto Princesa.

Day 4 - Puerto Princesa to El Nido (6 Hours)

We leave early and travel along the east coast of the island to El Nido. Once in El Nido you will have the rest of the day to relax.

Day 5 to 7 - El Nido

We spend the next 3 days snorkeling and diving as we island hop around Bacuit Bay. Experience the breathtaking views, pristine waters and beautiful corals as we explore and swim in the lagoons. To break things up we can arrange day hikes to surrounding waterfalls, a bike trip through local villages or arrange sea kayaks for independent exploration around the bay.

Day 8 - El Nido to Puerto Princesa

We leave on the morning of the eighth day back to Puerto Princesa. Remainder of the day is for relaxation. Enjoy a final farewell dinner with the staff at Kalui Restaurant one of the most famous in the city.

Day 9 - Puerto Princesa to Manila (1 Hour Flight)

We will take early you to catch the first returning flight from Puerto Princesa so you can make international connections in Manila.
