Deer Stones are situated near Moron city. They are ancient megaliths of Mongolia which are shaped with symbols. The name Deer Stone originates from their shaped impression of flying deer. The reason for their creation and the creators are not known. Around 900 deer stones have been discovered by archaeologists in Central Asia.
The Deer Stones feature image of a deer flying and the stone has a circle on the top and a dagger and belt at the bottom. Rare deer stones were also found with human faces on it. The tallest deer stone is around 15 metres high. It is said that these deer stones are from the late Bronze Age to the Early Iron Age, which is around 3000 years old. The Deer Stones were also used as a centre of rituals since it has circular shapes.
