Rivoli is a comune (municipality) established around the 1st century CE, in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 14 km west of Turin. As of 2007, it had a population of 50,115. Rivoli borders the following municipalities: Turin, Pianezza, Caselette, Alpignano, Collegno, Rosta, Grugliasco, Villarbasse, Rivalta di Torino, Orbassano.
Rivoli is famous for its castle, an unfinished Residence of the Royal House of Savoy which currently houses a museum of contemporary art.
