Trikut Pahar (Trikut Hills) is situated 10 km away from Deoghar on the way to Dumka in Jharkhand state, India. There are three main peaks on the hill which is why it is called Trikutachal. The height of this hill is 2470 feet.
The site is famous for its temple which includes a temple of Shiva (known as Trikutachal Mahadeva Temple) and the source of river Mayurakshi, Bam Bam Baba temple and Bhagwati Temple Dayananda Ashram-the heavenly abode of Shree Shree Thakur Dayananda Deva and altar of the goddess of Trishuli. It is one of the few religious places in India that still retains its peacefulness, simplicity, serenity and natural beauty.
