Located at a distance of 80 kms from Nasik and 240 kms from Mumbai, Gurudwara Guptsar Sahib is situated close to the Manmad Railway Station which is a major junction for many trains on the Indian Central Railway route. Manmad is also a major stop on the Delhi-Nanded line for sikh pilgrims visiting the Huzur Sahib Gurudwara at Nanded.
The karseva for the construction of Gurudwara Guptsar Sahib was started by Baba Nidhan Singh in 1931. The specific name 'Guptsar' for this gurudwara was derived since a hidden well containing sweet water was found at this site. There is a large double-storeyed gate leading to the courtyard of Gurudwara Guptsar Sahib which features a large diwan hall portraying decorated walls with glass pieces and reflective mirrors.
