Asilmetta ("Asella Metta") is a neighborhood in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India.The area has many offices and it is a major business center as well. It has become a major transit point for Dwarakanagar, Maddilapalem, Siripuram and Jagadamba Centre areas of Visakhapatnam. In olden days, Government collected taxes (''Asellu'' in telugu) in this area and hence, the name Asilmetta. Sri Sampath Vinayagar Temple, famous temple of the city is located at this place. Buses run by APSRTC connect Asilmetta to all parts of the city.
Many commercial establishments along the junction towards Asilmetta circle are present. Recently, a flyover opened from vemana mandir at asilmetta to Chief Engineering Navy building at Dondaparthi and it's named Telugu Talli Flyover.
Asilmetta is well connected to most locations of the city namely Gajuwaka,NAD X Road, Maddilapalem, Kurmannapalem, Duvvada, Madhurawada and Pendurthi by the state-owned bus service, APSRTC.
