Arunachal Pradesh has emerged as a major apple-growing state in the north-east India. This state grows apple in 8400 ha and produces 9500 tones apples. A beautiful town Tipi, near Bomdila is Asia's largest orchidarium. There is an Orchid Research Centre as well which is located in the West Kameng district. This stunning Orchid centre is situated on the bank of river Bharali, surrounded by evergreen forest has more than 500 species of orchids.
