Description: József Rippl-Rónai, who introduced modern painting in Hungary bought the Rome Villa in 1908, and used it as his home until his death. The two-floor six-room villa surrounded by a park was the place where the colourful, decorative pictures and the "maize-like" or "dotted" style was created. The museum furnished with original furniture and more than ninety works of art give an insight into all the painting periods of the artist.
