The former Monastery Church is today´s Parish Church of Suben
The Church was erected by master builder Simon Frey of Munich, Germany. The fresco paintings as well as the side altarpieces are works by Johann Jakob Zeiller from Reutte, Tirol. The high altarpiece is signed by J.G. Unruhe from Passau, a pupil to Paul Troger. The elaborate stucco works were created by Johann Baptist Modler in delicately gilded Rocaille-style.
The most noticeable and striking feature of the Parish Church are the wooden statutes mounted in white and created by Josef Deutschmann from Imst, Tirol. They comprise the four Archangels, the Early Fathers of the Church and the Evangelists. The fine pipe organ was installed by Martin Haller of Passau.
