Europe´s highest-lying zoo accommodates 2000 animals animals indigenous to the Alps.
Sheltered within are more than 2,000 animals, belonging to more than 150 different and sometimes rare species, including otters, eagles, elk, rabbits, vultures, wildcats, bison, and wolves.
A unique cold-water aquarium includes the World´s largest collection of rare Alpine fish species.
To get there it's best to take "The Sightseer" bus (www.sightseer.at)
The bus leaves the city center every 30 minutes from 1 May to 31 October and every 60 minutes from 1 November to 30 April
