Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, is considered by the scientists as the city to be 25 centuries old, which has emerged from an ancient city to a modern and bustling metropolis. First mentioned in "Avesta" and in ancient Chinese manuscripts, it served as one of the main routes of the Great Silk Road, due to its beneficial geographical position and complimentary climate. Today, Tashkent is one of the most important business centers in Central Asia and also renowned and beautiful city with unique architectural marvels, warmth and sociability of Tashkent people.

Tashkent tourist attractions include, Barak-Khan Madrassah, which is an astonishing medieval architectural monument, the Khazrat Imam Complex, here is a stunning ancient monuments. The Shash-Tepa Ancient Settlement is one of the oldest archeological sites discovered in Uzbekistan. The Courage Memorial has traces of history about the city and Independence Square is a popular city attraction.
