Day 2: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we will start our drive past the unique and gorgeous Ngorongoro Conservation Area via the famous Oldupai Gorge also known as “The Cradle of Mankind” to the Serengeti National Park.
Upon entering the Serengeti National Park for your game drive, the most intriguing and yet amazing African landscape rolls before your eyes. Here you will experience African wildlife in all its glory.
The highlight of the expedition will be a game drive in the Serengeti. As far as the eye can see, thousands upon thousands of animals in herds, wildebeests and zebras migrating together, tall and graceful giraffes, jumping antelopes and gazelles, the powerful African elephant and the most respected group of animals: the predators. You will be able to spot lean cheetahs and shy leopards, foraging hyenas, and last but not least, the king himself; the lion.
Add-ons available Olduvai Gorge and Maasai Boma visit at additional cost! Overnig Kati kati tented camp.

Day 3: Serengeti NP - Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, we will start with a morning game drive and then head towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
While game viewing, we will proceed with picnic lunches. Dinner and overnight at Rhino lodge

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
After breakfast, we will proceed to Ngorongoro crater for a full-day game drive. From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, descending down into the crater, you will enjoy amazing panoramic view and if you are lucky, you will see the Big five. The caldera exhibits more than 120 species of mammals. We will also visit saline lakes such as Lake Magadi, which is a magnet for flamingos and other water birds. We will also see pools full of hippos, the endangered East African black rhino as well as birds such as the secretary bird, the white stork arriving from Europe during the wet season and kori bustards, crowned cranes and ostriches. It is for sure a landscape of sheer beauty. Another big drawing card to this picturesque park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which can require the trained eye of your guide to spot. Thereafter, we will drive you to Arusha and end the tour.

I was in Serengeti last year,In this area you will see an amazing amount of animals. I'm glad we booked a private tour with The Insight Tanzania Safaris as it was so comfortable to have just our 4 family members in the Toyota Land-cruiser, which is the only tourist vehicle you will see. Be sure to bring a flash light to have a night to have in your rooms and to walk around the lodges or camps. Don't count on just an iPhone for pictures, get a good camera with a zoom lens, bring extra memory cards for your cameras. Bring some of our personal favorite snacks along as you will have a long time between meals if you are out in the bush.
