Just like all good surf trips, the Stoke Surfari has no rules! We’re headed wherever the best surf and party is for you on your trip! However, we do like to give you a rough idea of what our Surfari’s commonly include and the awesome places you are likely to visit. Here’s an idea of what you can expect during your time on our rolling surf camp.

Day 1 & 2 – (Cantabara – Spain) – WELCOME!
12.30- Pickup outside Opera House
Come and find our staff and Stoke bus at 12.30! We’ll be waiting to meet you with a welcome drink outside the Opera House in San Sebastian (near Zurriola surf beach).
Kick back and enjoy the ride with down through the picturesque Basque country and into the Cantabria region of Spain
Set up camp at our new beachfront home and head out for your first surf with our surf instructors along side to provide lessons for our beginners or to guide experienced surfers to the best peaks.
We love to take you to explore your surroundings! Nearby beaches such as Langre and Somo allow you to find great surf conditions hidden amongst the unmatched beauty of Cantabria’s spectacular countryside.
Your Stoke bus will take you to enjoy an afternoon surfs or simply kick back and relax at some of our favorite hidden Spanish beaches . The perfect setting to enjoy a well deserved beer or sangria while you take in the breathtaking sunset!
If those afternoon drinks get you a little too excited, why not take your exploration further and head out into the bustling nightlife of nearby Santander. Your party-partial Stoke guides will be more than happy to organize and accompany you on your after dark adventures and provide information on ferries, local hot spots and transport.

Day 3 & 4 – (Basque County – Spain)
We farewell this amazing part of Spain, bound for Basque Country and our new home in Zarautz. Perched atop a huge grassy hill that overlooks the beach, your new campsite is undeniably beautiful and most importantly has a great surf beach – all only 20 minutes from the world famous San Sebastian.
Take to the ocean for a surf in the heart of the Basque region before retiring for perhaps one of the most perfect sunset experiences you’ll find in your travels.
Explore the hidden caves on our day trip to Zumia beach or try your hand at surfing the city break of Zurriola in San Sebastian.
After dark or whenever your not surfing, we can organize for you to take full advantage of all that this region has to offer such as San Sebastian’s world renowned Pinxos (traditional Basque tapas), winery’s and cider houses, nightlife, boat parties, pub crawls and much more.

Day 5 & 6 – (Landes Region – FRANCE !)
On day 5 we say adios to Spain and Bonjure to our new beachfront campsite in France. This region is world famous for surfing and hosts the WSL Quicksilver pro annually. Here will have world class waves at our doorstep including Hossegor’s famous shore break barrel, Biarritz, Anglet, Segnoisse, Mimizan, Biscarosse and many others.
Because its near impossible to get sick of stunning sunsets, we’ll take to have the rather unique experience of watching the sun disappear behind the fallen World War 2 bunkers that you’ll find scattered all along Le Piste Beach.
When your all surfed out we’ll be waiting with a cold beer or sangria while you decide whether you want to discover your new favorite band at a gig in Hossegor, take on the treetop adventure park, or get involved in some extra curricular drinking in the partying surf town of Moliets.
When the unfortunate time comes that you have to leave us and our rolling camp of fun, we will return you to San Sebastian, or alternatively you can jump off in France and continue your travels from there!

Day 7 – Thursday (Return to Spain)
Unfortunately you have to leave us.. But we’ll catch ya later!
No terms, what is it???? We're goin' on a Surfing Surfari.

You ever hear that song Surfing Surfari? It was by the Beatles, or the Beach Boys, or some other group of fossils, not sure, but it had a real good message.

"Let's go surfin' now, everybody's learnin' how, come on a surfari with me"

Think about it, about the concept, the wonders of a surf trip, combined with the adventure of a safari. Traveling up and down the coast hunting WAVES! Doesn't that just sound wonderballs!?

Well, we put one together. Kinda, well, as put together as an off the cuff surf trip can possibly be.

Let us explain. We have this bus, right? And this big stretch of surfing coast spanning Spain and France, gottit? And so what we're going to do is cruise up and down the coast looking for waves. And we're going to sleep in whichever town we found waves in, and in the morning we're going to head off, taking in the best towns, beaches, tourists attractions and parties this part of the world has to offer. Pretty cool huh!?

It's such a simple, yet rad concept. We'll be exploring good chunks of Spain and France, which are totally different countries, like duh, and have different languages and food and that kind of STUFF, they also have completely different beaches, waves, vibes, even climate! And you can experience both in a week.
What better way to experience these two must-do locations than on a surfboard!? Y'all know we just adore tourism, and site seeing rules, but there aint nothing finer than whiling away the hours doing not so much parked on a beautiful European beach.

The awful details.
We'll be starting our Surfari in San Sebastian, Spain, cruising up and down the coast, surfing wherever the waves are the best. We will stop in Biarritz in France for parties, or maybe Hossegor to rub shoulders with the European surfing elite. We'll be surfing wherever the waves are the best, we'll spend off days exploring the Pyrenees, if it seems like the right thing to do, or we'll be eating in the cider houses behind San Sebastian (and drinking a little cider too).
Basically we'll be chasing the waves and the biggest kicks. At the end of the days we'll retreat to whichever surf camp is the closest, set up the tents and cook dinner. We'll drink some beers and trade stories. We'll decide whether we want to go and party, or not, and once the night is done, whichever we chose to do we know we'll be waking up and cruising the coast looking for more waves.
Doesn't that sound just amazing!?

2 options over 2 trip lengths.

3 night trips.
-210€ all-inclusive WITH boards and lessons
-180€ all inclusive WITHOUT boards and lessons.
Departs every Monday & Friday from San Sebastian outside Kursaal Opera House near the Zurriola surf beach at 3PM.
