Day 1: May 31st: we will pick you up from the airport. About 1 hour drive to Lhasa: Check-in hotel and rest for the day. There will be a short talk from the organizers about the tour and information. Welcome dinner.

Day 2: June 1st: Sightseeing in Lhasa - Potala and Jhokhang:
In the morning we will visit Potala palace, served both as administrative centre and religious centre. It was built in the 7th century by Tibetan king “Songtsen Gampo” and later renovated by 5th Dalai Lama in the 17th century. In the afternoon we will visit the Jokhang Temple, the spiritual center of Tibetan Buddhism, attracts thousands and thousands of pilgrimage from all over Tibet and around the world, it was built by the great King Songten Gampo.

Day 3: June 2nd: Lhasa –Shigatse overnight:
After breakfast we start the journey, head toward Shigatse which is the second largest city in Tibet. It’s also the home town of Banchen Lama. On the way we will see many villages and farms.

Day 4: June 3rd: Shigatse- EBC:
After breakfast we will head to Everest base camp and stay overnight there. While passing through you will see Himalaya range including peaks over 8000, Makalu, Lhotse, Everest, and Cho Oyu. The first sight of the mighty Everest simply leaves you speechless. The best moments to watch Mt. Everest's are early morning and late evening (sun rise and sun set) when Everest is shining like a goddess in the sunglow.

Day 5: June 4th: EBC to Shigatse
After breakfast we can take some pictures of Mt Everest and head back to Shigatse. Spend the night in Shigatse hotel.

Day 6: June 5th: Shigatse to Lhasa
After early breakfast we will head back to Lhasa, on the way we will see the snow mountain caped Mt. Nyenchen Kangsang in the distance followed by the turquoise colored Lake Yamdrok Yumtso and Karola glacier. We will come across some wild animals and the beauty of the landscape scenarios will simply live you in peace and filled you with energy. We have our dinner in Lhasa and then take you to the hotel.

Day 7: June 6th: Lhasa free day!!!
Today is a free day where you can wonder around the Lhasa markets or sit in a tea house and enjoy watching Tibetan’s culture with a nice cup of tea.

Day 8: June 7th: Lhasa – Gulmond We will travel together to Gulmond in train for the next trip.
