Uganda is a land of contrasts. Uganda is alive with these contrasts the massive lumbering yet silent elephant, disappearing like a vapor behind the trees, the chimpanzees crashing about the forest canopy, the lugubrious gorilla, chewing thoughtfully, in the bamboo thicket. There is the Nile, twisting its way north like a shimmering ribbon, through arid semi desert scattered about with rocky kopjes, Snowcapped peaks, tropical, sandy, freshwater beaches and smiling faces everywhere.

Day 1: Our Company Guide will meet you at on arrival and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

An early morning start from Entebbe takes you southwest and across the Equator. You drive through savannah grasslands seeing banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle with their incredibly long curving horns. You then ascend into the Kigezi highlands, known as the "Switzerland of Africa", with terraced farming and mountain scenery.
Drive to Bwindi arriving late in the evening. Check in your accommodation

Day 2: After an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger guide; enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular. The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored.

Day 3: Relaxed boat ride
After breakfast transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.
Believed to be the second deepest lake in Africa, Lake Bunyonyi is a body of water in southwestern Uganda near the Rwandan border, and one of the country’s top natural treasures. And, at 1,962m above sea level, the lake enjoys moderate temperatures year round, cool in both the mornings and evenings.

Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of 2,200-2,478m, but it’s the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that make it most magical — we could’ve admired them all day. It’s a sight that reinvents itself every hour or two with the ever-changing climate and direction of the sun. In the early morning, the islands weave through cotton candy-like streams of mist and, in the afternoon, they’re bathed in the warm glow of the sun. Later, they’re silhouetted against a dim sky as evening approaches. One day the islands vanished from sight completely, hidden under a blanket of clouds, but it only took an hour to see them emerge once more.

You will enjoy a calm boat trip through some of the 29 islands on this lake. If you don’t mind, you can explore a few of these islands during the boat trip.

Day 4: Transfer to Entebbe with site seeing en route including Kampala city for souvenir shopping and then to Entebbe Airport for your outbound flight. Leave with precious memories safely tucked away.
