Rogers Lake is a 260 acre lake straddling the Lyme/Old Lyme line, with a state-owned boat launch. The launch is at the end of a long, stream-fed cove, which opens to an area in the middle of the lake that is less than 6 feet deep. On either side of this shallow area to the North and South are deeper basin areas, dotted with islands. The average depth of the lake is 19 feet, with a maximum of 63 feet in the northern section. The shoreline is almost all developed by private residences, with one town park on the south shore.
