Agua Fria is a census-designated place (CDP) in Santa Fe County, New Mexico, United States. It is part of the Santa Fe, New Mexico Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 2,051 at the 2000 census. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.0 square miles (5.2 Square Kilometer), of which, 2.0 square miles (5.2 Square Kilometer) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 Square Kilometer) of it (2.49%) is water.
